Preliminary Assessment
The Preliminary Assessment is a complimentary service oriented at developing a quick evaluation of the health of your business; it’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; along with a set of pointed recommendations for improvements in your business model and go-to-market strategy. It is designed to determine if we can help you. The Preliminary Assessment is conducted in stages with the collaborative participation of your management team and CSO on Demand. The overall process takes a few weeks, but the time of your team will be limited to a few hours.
During the Research Stage, CSO on Demand will use any materials that you provide; Internet research; and our network; to independently develop an initial understanding of your business and market.
During the Discovery Stage, CSO on Demand will come on site and interview the management team regarding the key elements of your business model; your product and it’s market positioning; your marketing plan; and your sales and service models; to complete our preliminary understanding of your business and market. This process typically takes less than one day.
During the Analysis Stage, CSO on Demand will analyze the information that has been compiled and arrive at defensible conclusions regarding the strengths; weaknesses; opportunities and threats to your business and a recommended course of action.
During the Preliminary Findings Stage, CSO on Demand will come back on site to present and discuss the findings with the management team via a PowerPoint presentation. You will also receive a proposal outlining the ways that CSO on Demand can help your company execute on the recommended course of action. These areas will be delineated as Projects in our proposal and will be managed using our Project Methodology.
